In respect to Franchise Applicants, all detail requested to consider an application for a Tyremart Franchise concession is, if the application is unsuccessful, destroyed as soon as the applicant is made aware of the decision.

The TYREMART Prevention of Corruption Code is intended:

to provide measures to prevent and combat corruption and corrupt activities;
to define what conduct in the workplace will constitute corruption and corrupt activities;
to provide for the offences of corruption and offences relating to corrupt activities in the workplace.
to place a duty on employees to report certain conduct.

Without the prior written approval of the employer, no employee may directly or indirectly accept or agree to accept offers of any reward or gratification from person other than from the employer for what is due as remuneration in terms of the contract of employment.

This prohibition applies both to a benefit for himself / herself and for the benefit of any other person, natural or juristic.

Without the prior written approval of the employer, no employee may give or agree or offer to give to any other person any gratification, favour or benefit to any other person for the benefit of that person or any other person, any gratification intended to or in order to influence the other person to act in a way that:

is illegal, dishonest or biased;
results in a favour or any gratification being given to the employee to which he / she is not otherwise entitled in terms of the contract of employment;
constitutes misuse or selling of information or material acquired in the course of employment’
amounts to a breach of trust between the employee and the employer or any other person who is a supplier to or client or competitor of the employer;
constitutes a position of authority;
is a violation of a legal duty or set of rules;
amounts to unauthorised or improper inducement to do or not to do anything that will result in a favour or any gratification.

An employee who is guilty of conduct in contravention of these prohibitions will be subject to disciplinary action that may result in dismissal.

Depending on the nature or the conduct, such employee also be subject to criminal and/or civil action.

The employer undertakes that the content of the TYREMART Code of Conduct has been brought to the attention of and explained in understandable terms & language to every employee and the each employee has indicated that he/she understands the content.

BFGOODRICH KO3 LEGENDS CAMPAIGN
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Organizers:

This organizers and promoters of this promotion are MICHELIN TYRE COMPANY SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD (“MICHELIN”) and TYREMART TYRES AND ACCESSORIES (PTY) LTD (“TYREMART”).

Promotion Rules:

Promotion is open to persons aged 18 years or over residing in South Africa
The Promotion applies to “Cash Customers” only – Fleets, Businesses & Account Customers are excluded
Participation requires the purchase and fitting (at the Tyremart or Tyreworx store where purchased) of a set of 4 or 5 BFGoodrich KO3 tyres (in respect to the Free Rugby Ball and Chance-to-Win Braai promotion) or a set of 4 or 5 BFGoodrich KO2 tyres (in respect to the Chance-to-Win Braai promotion only)
Participation is automatic upon the customer having provided correct names, cell phone number & vehicle registration number to a Tyremart or Tyreworx representative, for inclusion on the purchase invoice.
Participants are required to retain their invoice and agree that they may, at any time on request of MICHELIN and/or TYREMART, by required to produce the original invoice.
Free Rugby balls are limited to one per invoice, irrespective of the number of tyres purchased.
The promotion starts on 18 November 2024 and ends by 31st December 2024.
The draw to select the winner of the “Braai-with-Legends” will be done during January 2025.
The winner will be contacted on the cell phone number recorded on the winning invoice. Should it not be possible to make contact with the winner within 24 hours, the Organizers reserve the right to consider this winning draw void and to select another winner.
Rugby balls are limited, and promotion is subject to stock availability
Rugby balls are not kept at the Tyremart & Tyreworx stores.
The balls will be delivered to the stores where qualifying sales are made.
Tyremart Head Office Marketing Department will endeavour to deliver the balls with 7 (seven) working days of the purchase having been made.
Qualifying customers will be contacted on the cell phone number they have provided; and they will be required to collect their prizes from the store where the tyres were purchased
MICHELIN employees and their authorized distributors/promotional agencies are not allowed to participate in the competition.
TYREMART and MICHELIN’s decision in all matters to do with the promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Braai with the Legends:

The anticipation is that the winner will be able to invite up to 10 persons (himself / herself included) to be joined for a home-based braai with the Rugby Legends.
Although it is the intention that all five Rugby Legends will attend, the organizers do not guarantee that all five Rugby Legends will, in fact, be available to attend.
The organizers reserve the right to inspect the premises and, if they are determined not to be suitable, an alternative venue may be provided by the organizers.
The organizers shall not be required to provided reasons as to why the premises are not deemed suitable.

General Terms & Conditions:

By entering this promotion, the participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by the entire terms and conditions of this promotion.
The prizes cannot be exchanged with options outside the provided platforms/options.
The prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for other alternative prizes.
The winner is expected to agree to the use of his/her name and appropriate photographs in any publicity material related to this promotion, however, the winner retains the right to refuse such permission.
The contestants’ entry into this campaign and acceptance of their selection shall imply their consent to the collection and storage of their personal information, as provided by them, into the MICHELIN and TYREMART consumer database for internal business or marketing purposes, which shall include without limitation, direct marketing activities.
